Noreen Ocampo is a Filipino American writer and poet from metro Atlanta. She is the author of There Are No Filipinos in Mississippi, a micro-chapbook published by Porkbelly Press in 2025. She also wrote Not Flowers, which won the 2021 Variant Lit Microchap Contest. Noreen holds a BA in English from Emory University and recently earned her MFA from the University of Mississippi. She enjoys translucent orange, matcha, and the tags connected to most tea bags. She currently lives in Oxford, Mississippi. Her family comes from Pangasinan, Philippines.
